9/3/2023 0 Comments Music notation font for word![]() ![]() I have never used this it doesn't seem to me to be a particularly beautifully-engraved music font, but it might do what you want. ![]() ![]() It might also be worth mentioning that there are some fonts that are designed to show musical notation in text documents. Otherwise you get variable line spacing, which is ugly and hard to read. I suppose you have already worked out that you'll need to set the line spacing to an exact figure (say font-size+3pt) rather than 'single', as these fonts have different leading than 'normal' fonts. I think they'd be good a little bit bigger (+2pt?) than the text font. The Jazz font was the premiere handwritten music font prior to Finale 2010 and includes handwritten text, percussion, and chord symbol fonts as well. Linux: press CTRL SHIFT U and the Unicode char (like U266D) For windows type Unicode and press ALT X. You can easily add these using Unicode irrespective of languages. Type %!§# and ? to get double-flat, flat, natural, sharp and double-sharp respectively. I mentioned that one in my answer, adding some fonts where that is available. But I might use Opus Figured Bass (if I didn't need the superscripts) as the accidentals are I think available from keystrokes on the main keyboard. Daniel's right – Opus Chords has all five accidental signs, and the three common ones are available both inline and superscript. ![]()
